This course explores the intersection of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and the humanities, with a particular focus on digital history. Through a combination of lectures, readings, and hands-on exercises, students will learn how to use natural language processing tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney to analyze and generate content, as well as explore the various ways that generative AI can be applied to the humanities more broadly.
